Turning Point Recovery Society is a non-profit organization based in BC that provides addiction recovery services.
Why Turning Point?
The organization offers a cost-effective alternative to more expensive private programs in the Lower Mainland and throughout the province. It boasts of having a proven track record of over 30 years in the Lower Mainland. Turning Point is one of only five facilities licensed under the BC Community Care Assisted Living Act, which strictly monitors all aspects of its operations. Additionally, Turning Point was the first provider in BC to be accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). The Richmond and Vancouver sites are conveniently located to public transit and other support services.
Individual and Personalized Care
Turning Point provides individual and personalized care, which proves effective for clients. The smaller facilities allow for more personalized care and client attention. The organization believes that every individual is responsible for their life and decisions or can learn to be responsible. Their services are client-centered based on evidence-based best-and emerging practice models. The clients complete Individual Service Plans tailored to meet their unique needs. There is also follow-up and continuing care planning, reintegration and a return to work programs.
