Searidge Foundation

Searidge Foundation is a leading residential treatment center situated in the scenic Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia, Canada. The center offers a comprehensive approach to addiction recovery and deals specifically with co-occurring mental health conditions. At Searidge, the goal is to provide evidence-based therapies and holistic services that will help sustain long-term recovery. Clients receive individualized support and attention in an intimate setting that caters to just 12 residents. The therapy includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), group therapy, journaling, acupuncture, meditation, yoga, creative art therapy, and recreational therapy.

The facility overlooks the Annapolis Basin and is designed to provide an ideal environment for healing. The surrounding area is serene and green and offers plenty of space for walking or hiking. Searidge believes that privacy is an important element of successful addiction recovery, and as such, each client is provided with their own private room with a full bathroom. The center offers various amenities that include a heated pool, a library, and a game room with a pool table. All clients are provided with nutritious gourmet meals that are locally sourced and contain only the freshest ingredients.

Recreational Activities

Clients at Searidge Foundation are encouraged to engage in recreational activities as part of their addiction recovery. The center offers access to various recreational activities on and off-site. On-site, clients can enjoy the heated swimming pool, the library, and the game room. Off-site, there’s an opportunity to engage in activities such as whale watching, white water rafting, horseback riding, and group sports. The center also offers access to hiking trails for clients who love nature walks. The goal is to help clients achieve a balance between their recovery and relaxation time.
