The Turning Point Centre is a residential program that can help people with drug and alcohol addiction. The program gets the addicts to look at the consequences and then gets them to deal with those consequences. To help them through, there are one on one counselling and group meetings. The patients are also required to attend AA or NA meetings at least six times a week. This is to make sure that they actually deal with their problems. The entire point of the program at Turning Point is to become more responsible of one’s actions and so take responsibility for the consequences. It can really help a person in dealing with everyday life without a chemical substance.
