Program Philosophy and Goals The Alcohol and Drug department at the Friendship Center offers counselling to either family, group or individuals. With appointments, referrals, or on a drop-in basis. We do assessments for treatment and refer to other agencies. We assist in prevention and support for a healthy lifestyle. We continue to support and counsel through recovery and follow-up. Our primary goal is to provide service for Urban First Nations People but are available for anyone in the community. We believe in the Holistic approach to a healthy lifestyle and that culture is healing.
