Mens Sana Families for Mental Health is a Non-Profit rehab located in Concord, Ontario and specializes in the treatment of mental health.

Families from York Region who gathered to assist one another and offer the services and support their family members required founded Mens Sana in 1991. Mens Sana Families is a Latin phrase that means “Healthy Mind,” and it is almost entirely funded by donors’ generosity.

We believe that healthy minds emerge from respectful contact, appropriate supports, and purposeful activities provided in a safe, trustful, and valuable environment at Mens Sana. Mens Sana was created with the purpose of being a support for individuals and their families who have mental health concerns.

We provide both direct and indirect support to individuals with mental health issues as well as their family and support network.

Injustice, terror, and prejudice abound in the history of mental health care for people. The crossfire of ignorance and bias may affect both individuals and families. We strive to treat everyone at Mens Sana as individuals, support them, and esteem them. We strive to provide treatment that is centered on the individual’s needs.
