MRTC offers a five week (35 Days) intensive residential treatment program for men experiencing problematic substance use. The program is based on the bio-psycho-social-spiritual model and therefore is designed to address the physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual needs of each person who enters treatment. Program delivery is primarily group based with some opportunities for individual sessions. The treatment length may be extended based on clinical needs. All aspects of the program, from balanced meals and recreational opportunities to education and counselling sessions, provide an excellent context for personal growth. Each man who enters treatment at MRTC joins a safe, therapeutic community in which clients are treated with dignity, respect, caring, and autonomy. In turn, they are expected to treat others within the same respect and dignity, so that everyone may make the most of the opportunities available.
