We operate with the understanding that undesired youth behavior often originates from larger family issues. Bear’s Paw Retreat has created effective solutions as a youth residential facility, based on the inclusion of the whole family to guide and rebuild the parent/child attachment. It has been our experience that once the family relationship has been rebuilt, negative youth behaviors diminish or disappear entirely. The support of all Bear’s Paw Staff in our effective youth treatment center often results in a drastic reduction of troubled teen behavior. At the “Ranch”, a genuine family experience is created by the on-site habitation of professional counselors, teachers, caring staff, and participating youth. Based on our experience, Bears Paw Retreat limits enrolment to two youth in treatment at any given time. Our policy limiting enrolment ensures our charges experience a constructive healthy environment with minimal distraction. Positive and nurturing, our youth residential treatment facility is unlike any other. The Bear’s Paw Retreat thrives in its peacefully secluded atmosphere as a welcoming home base for change.
