Our 3-month live-in treatment program is the only Centre of its kind in Eastern Ontario.

Dave Smith Youth Treatment Centre’s history and founder
The Dave Smith Youth Treatment Centre (Dave Smith Youth Treatment Centre) was established in 1993. We were founded as a result of the relentless efforts of a group of people, led by Ottawa restaurateur and philanthropist, Dave Smith. Since 1993, Dave Smith Youth Treatment Centre has helped hundreds of youth and families each year as a Day Treatment program. In 2010, we were chosen to alter our mandate to deliver live-in and aftercare treatment services for youth and families across the province.
