AFM provides addictions treatment and public education services related to alcohol, drug and gambling through 26 locations in communities across the province. Afm Compass Residential Youth Program is an eight week residential program for 13-17 year-olds who are experiencing significant problems with their use of alcohol or other drugs (AOD).
This co-ed program is suitable for youth who want to make significant changes in relation to their AOD involvement but have been unable to do so with the resources available in their home community. Program components include assessment; individual and group counselling; medical and psychological services; academic programming; recreation and leisure; health education and counseling; 12 Step programming; and education/support for families.
