Addiction Rehab Toronto completely transformed my life. Their staff supported me throughout my journey, from self-discovery to the beginning of recovery. From the moment I reached out to them, Wade guided me through the process step by step and assured me that it would be a safe place for me to heal and grow. Despite my doubts and being in the worst mental, emotional, and physical state, Wade invited me to visit the center the next day and took me on a tour to ease my nerves. Whenever I was stressed or had questions, I called Wade, and he reassured me that everything would be okay.
When I arrived, Valentino became my primary counselor, and through our one-on-one sessions, daily classes, and connecting with peers, I experienced a significant amount of self-discovery. With the help of my psychotherapist, I was able to process and grow. I owe my life to Valentino and the entire staff at Addiction Rehab Toronto. I am leaving with a new perspective on my life, past, future, and most importantly, myself.

After years of struggling to overcome my alcohol addiction on my own, I felt hopeless, confused, and broken. I knew I needed help, but I didn’t know where to turn. That’s when I found ART. When I arrived, I was feeling lonely, nervous, depressed, and anxious. However, the nursing staff and counselors greeted me warmly, which immediately made me feel welcomed and comforted. They placed me in a comfortable detox room equipped with a TV and a fridge filled with Gatorade and protein shakes. The nursing staff checked on me every couple of hours and delivered food, which helped me detox.
Once my mind was clear, I met amazing people like me who I could relate to and bonded with right away. It was a sense of belonging that I had never felt before. My primary counselor, Valentino, understood my unique story, addiction, and vulnerabilities, and formed a plan to make sure that I received the help I needed during my entire stay. He answered all of my questions and gave me hope, faith, and courage for this lifelong journey. I am forever grateful to Valentino for helping me put the right foot forward.
The staff at ART is incredible, each in their own way, and together they form an amazing team. I also thank the chefs, Leo and Ed, for the delicious meals and cookies they prepared. Thanks to ART, I am getting closer to who I truly am and beginning a beautiful journey.
