About Center
Offers addiction counselling from a harm-reduction, abstinence, and/or relapse prevention approach to adults, youth, families, and groups. Through the methadone maintenance program, offers prescription methadone to help stabilize clients with heroin addiction who are making lifestyle and interpersonal changes. Nursing support is offered for home detox withdrawal management. Also offers drop-in acupuncture to clients who have VCHA addiction counsellors, 9:30 am to 10:45 pm Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. The Needle Exchange provides needles and injection equipment, and helps to ensure the recovery and safe disposal of needles.
