By providing a structured curriculum that addresses all aspects of addiction recovery, MDH empowers residents to manage their addiction independently. Full-time individual counselling sessions with a primary counsellor offering weekly feedback assist individuals in realizing their progress throughout the program.
Part three of the program focuses on transitioning residents back into society. MDH offers the opportunity for residents to continue their residency even after completing the program, giving them a structured environment while adjusting to work or school. The staff at MDH evaluates each case individually to ensure that individuals that remain in the program will truly benefit from it. Aftercare counselling is provided for part three residents and even graduates who have completed the program but are not residing at MDH.
